Refunds & cancellation

The short version

Full refund any time before your reading is delivered.Once the reading is delivered, no refunds - the work is already done.

What counts as "delivered"

Your reading is considered delivered when the practitioner team marks thefull document as ready in your reading URL (/natal/<your-slug>) - usually 5-21 days after intake, depending on the depth tier. You'll receive an email saying so. Before that email arrives, you can cancel for a full refundregardless of how much drafting has happened on our end.

How to request a refund

Email hello@housecallastro.comwith your order number (from your Stripe receipt) or the email address you paid with. Refunds are processed within 5 business days back to the original payment method.

If the reading is bad

If the delivered reading misses badly - factual errors, wrong chart math, doesn't address what you submitted at intake - reply to the delivery email. We'll revise the affected sections at no cost. If the revision still misses, you get a partial refund proportional to what was unusable. This has happened twice in the practice's lifetime; both ended with full refunds after revision attempts.

Chargebacks

Chargebacks via your card issuer take 30-90 days and cost us a fee plus a ding on our processing account. If you're considering one, please email us first - we will almost certainly resolve it faster and at no cost to you.

Subscription refunds

House Call doesn't currently offer subscriptions. If/when we do, prorated refunds will apply to the unused portion of any active subscription period.

Founders' cohort lifetime pricing

If you refund a reading you booked under founders' pricing, you forfeit the lifetime-pricing lock on future bookings. You can still book at standard post-launch pricing afterwards.

EU / UK statutory rights

These terms don't override any statutory rights you have under EU consumer protection law or UK Consumer Contracts Regulations - we honour both where they apply. The 14-day withdrawal right for digital services applies before delivery; once delivered (with your explicit consent at intake), it terminates per Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
